Booth At The Kerrville Music Festivals Wine And Music Weekend

Karen Musick once again presents the Landscapes of Her Mind at the 2010 Kerrville Wine and Music Festival to be held Labor Day Weekend, September 3 - 5 at Quiet Valley Ranch 8 miles southwest of Kerrville, Texas on Hwy 16 south.

This is her third booth rental at this wonderful music festival and her booth is more like an outdoor art gallery. With six panels to represent the six colors in a rainbow, or a pallet of paints, each panel painted bright colors from Blue through the spectrum to Purple to showcase the intensity of her work.

Her original paintings, which have an impact that is best shown in the photo included in this release. Folks who never grace an art gallery are drawn in by the bright colors and the subject matter of her work.

Compared to Frida Kahlo on a regular basis, Karen's work also comes from a place of intense pain. She struggles daily with intractable nerve pain and uses painting as therapy to help her deal with what medications cannot...
